[One day trip]Visiting to Rice Planting Festival(Shrine ritual)

■Rice Planting Festival for Rich Harvest with Maiden Planters
The rice planting festival in Kayabuki-no-sato (Thatched Village) of Miyama Town.
In the festival, the shinto ritual is made by the head priest of Chii Hachiman Shrine praying for rich harvest, which is followed by maiden planters in colorful garments putting seedlings in the rice fields.
Enjoy the authentic Japanese landscape surrounded by the mountains in stunning vivid light green hue.

*Note: The schedule may change due to weather condition.

About Rice planting experience (13:30~15:00):
You can try to plant personally in the rice field.
In japan, you can see easily rice planting in early summer.
It is generally doing by agricultural machinery now,but a long time ago, people planted personally.
Why don’t you try rice planting?

meeting place: in front of restaurant(Kitamura).
Price: over 12 years old JPY 500, under 12 years old free.
