The cultural and historic site of Kayabuki-no-sato is protected by an elaborate system of 62 hoses that automatically spray water over the entire thatched village if a fire breaks out. On the 20th of May every year, the hose system is tested by the local fire brigade. In this tour, you can enjoy a spectacular sight of water jets creating rainbows over the thatched houses!
