Local Miyama rice “Umashi mai (美し米)” and seasonal vegetables grown in rice fields and vegetable plots in Miyama surrounded by mountains.

Seasonal delicacies of Miyama – variety of wild mountain vegetables (sansai) in spring; ayu sweet fish in summer, matsutake mashroom in autumn; and wild boar meat in winter.

Doburoku “Miyama Yukishizuri”

Miyama is designated as the special zone of Doburoku. Doburoku Yukishizuri is refreshing dry type unrefined home-brewed sake of KAJIKASO

Local Miyama Chikin “Kyo Jidori”

Raised in open space breeding by Miyama local chicken farm, healthy Kyo Jidori is crunchy texture. More you chew the tasty flavour comes out.

Miyama Local Wild Game

Wild boar and deer carefully prepared by hunters in Miyama are tasty and do not have gamely smell. Enjoy natural bounty from mountains by various type of cooking (roast, dumpling, etc.)
