Immerse yourself into Japanese culture of rice!
This half-day tour offers you to try your hand at both mochi pounding activity and rice straw craft experience with local English-speaking guide.
Japanese people love rice, they grow a lot of it and they have done for a long time.
With all that rice agriculture comes a whole lot of straw.
Rice straw was extremely abundant material back in days and people made variety of things with it.
You’ll make your own sacred shimenawa rope which is a religious items of the Shinto.
After you have done the activity, you’ll try mochi pounding experience together with local people.

・It’ll take about 10-min walk from the parking lot.
